WHAT IF EVERYBODY KNEW?

I just read a short story by Daphne du Maurier called Blue Lenses.  [Minor Spoiler.]  In the story, the main character is in the hospital getting fitted for a pair of eye lenses.  They turn out to have a strange, and often disturbing, side-effect:  they reveal the true nature of person she is looking at.  [I won't say more than that, because that would make it a Big Spoiler.]

It got me thinking.  What if a person's true sexual nature was visible to anyone who looked at him or her?  If you could know at a glance if a person's desires matched you own? Would it make for more happy encounters?  Or would it just be weird?  Would people assume just because you were into spanking that you were up for  being spanked by anyone at any time?  It seems like there would be some possible complications!

On the other hand, I went to a spanking party once, and we wore color-coded name tags--names in blue for spankers, names in red for spankees, names in orange for switches.  At the party, it made things a bit easier to negotiate, and there weren't any assumptions made.

So would you like to know?  Maybe there's someone out there you never though was into spanking and if you suddenly had a way of finding out...

SUPERHERO SPANKINGS

Just saw that Superman and Wonder Woman are hooking up.  Who do you think is the spanker in that relationship?  My vote is for Wonder Woman and her golden lasso.

What superhero/heroine do you think would be a good spanker?  Is there one you think should be spanked?  Is it wrong that I keep picturing Albert spanking Batman (or at least Bruce Wayne)?  Albert was very disappointed in him at times. 

Do you think there's a supervillain out there who could be reformed with a good spanking?  Could a spanking make a supervillain cry? Weigh in!  (Meanwhile I have some new story ideas!)

REGENCY SPANKING

Wow.  I haven't blogged in a million years, more or less (since November!)  But I have been writing some stories.  The most recent one is called THE HEADSTRONG MISS HENLEY.  It's set in Regency England.

I've always loved Regency romances. Some of my favorite authors are Suzanne Enoch, Amanda Quick, Elizabeth Mansfield, and, of course, Georgette Heyer. There's something about that world--all the rules of society, and the balls, and the carriage rides, and the lemon ices at Gunther's, the witty banter, the viscounts and earls and dukes--that's deeply appealing.

I also love writing spanking stories.  So I decided to combine these two passions.  Hey, with all those rules of society, somebody has to be breaking them and needing to be spanked.  And doesn't a spanking from an earl just seem extra sexy somehow?

I already have a second Regency spanking story in mind, THE SCHEMING MISS SINCLAIR.  It involves a young lady who is determined to marry a particular earl.  He's not at all interested in her, so she comes up with a scheme to be caught in a compromising position with him, forcing him to offer for her.

What she hasn't considered is that as her husband, the earl will be well within his rights to administer spankings to her bare bottom.  Starting with the spanking for forcing him to marry her.

 

CRYING--THE OTHER SIDE

I didn't even think about writing about how I feel about crying as a spanker (I like to spank and be spanked).  It didn't even occur to me.  Clearly, having a man cry over my knee isn't something I think would add to the experience for me, or it would have been something I'd have thought about. 

In the spankings I've given, there have been no tears. It's not that I don't spank hard.  I've been told I'm a hard spanker!

Any guys out there who have cried during a spanking?  Did it enhance the experience.

CRYING?

One of the first prospective spankers I talked to asked me if I envisioned crying during a spanking.  I found this off-putting, maybe because I disliked the idea of him wanting to hurt me so much I cried.  Is it about inflicting pain though?  Or is a different kind of satisfaction for the spanker--and spankee?  Is it more of an emotional release?

I've never come close to crying during a spanking, but all my spankings have involved role-playing.  I wonder if I was spanked for something I really did feel ashamed about or guilty for if that would bring me to tears.
